didn’t object it but don’t want me to learn Ba Gia Giang
(eight infernal generals, one of the formats of Din Tao
performance), because you may get heart while using
talisman in the performance style of Ba Gia Giang. |

do you join in the Din Tao group?
A:There
is usually Din Tao performance during the deity festival
and celebration hold by temples. |

there any difficulties when you learned the performance? How did you solve those problems?
A:I
rarely feel it is difficult. |

any uncommon or special thing happened while you are
performing?
A:Every
one will do their best to show off their moves during
the parade of pilgrimage or the worship ceremony. |

everyone learn Din Tao arts?Is
there any requirement?
A:Anyone
who is interested in Din Tao can learn Din Tao arts.
There is no special requirement. |
Q:Is
there any taboo before performance?
A:There
is no taboo in now days. |

much it costs per performance in the parade?
A:It
depends on the scale of the Din Tao group. To excite the
audience, Din Tao groups will be hired during the parade
of pilgrimage or the worship ceremony. It costs
differently every time. |
Q:In
your opinion, is Din Tao an occupation or a habit?
A:It
can be both. |
Q:Why
do you went to preserve the Din Tao arts?
A:We
won’t let the local culture be cut off. Abbots has
registered the group as an organization called the
Association of Local Culture to pass the culture legacy
down to generations. The government is promoting the
culture preservation as well. |
Q:People
thought only bad kids would learn Din Tao arts in the
past. Do you agree?
A:More
or less, because they need strict discipline. The
training process is rigorous, especially the format of
Be Gia Giang. |
